A parenting intensive is a single, focused 4-hour session with a licensed therapist that replaces months of weekly appointments — designed to help you understand what's happening, learn practical tools, and leave with a personalized plan virtually for parents in Georgia and Florida.
A 50-minute therapy session can be incredibly helpful, but sometimes there simply isn’t enough time to understand the bigger picture, identify patterns, learn new skills, practice them, and create a plan.
An intensive gives us dedicated time to slow down and focus deeply on what’s happening—without having to stop just as we’re getting to the heart of the issue. It allows us to stay focused, avoid the stop-and-start of traditional sessions, and minimize the distractions that can arise between appointments
Instead of:
Talk → Get advice → Go home → Try to remember what we discussed
We can move through:
Understand → Identify → Practice → Create a Plan
You leave with more than information—you leave with greater clarity, practical tools, and a personalized plan you can actually use at home.
I currently offer two focused parenting intensives:
For parents who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or frustrated with recurring parenting challenges.
This intensive looks at the whole picture—your child, your family, your parenting patterns, your triggers, and the situations that keep creating conflict.
Together, we will:
Understand what's underneath your child's behavior
Identify your parent-child interaction cycle
Explore your own triggers and reactions
Learn practical tools for regulation, connection, boundaries, and discipline
Practice new ways of responding
Create a personalized 30-day parenting plan
This is a good fit if you're thinking:
"I don't know what to do anymore."
"Everything turns into a battle."
"I know how I want to parent, but I can't do it in the moment."
"I need a plan."

No. These intensives are designed to be parent-focused.
That's okay.
You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis or even a clear explanation.
You can simply come with:
"We're struggling, and I don't know what to do."
Part of the intensive is figuring out what is actually happening.
No. Parenting challenges look different at different developmental stages.
The intensive can be adapted for parents of young children, school-age children, tweens, and adolescents.
The intensive doesn't have to be a stand-alone experience.
